  • The seventh annual Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival will take place on November 7th and 8th. The two-day festival has announced its most wide-reaching lineup yet. Organized by New York nightlife staples Good Peoples and MeanRed—also known for their collaborative 88 Palace events—the festival will occupy a number of Williamsburg venues, including Music Hall of Williamsburg, Output, Verboten, Cameo and Villain, among others. Highlights of the weekend include sets from Crosstown Rebels captain Damian Lazarus, UK house don Eats Everything and Get Physical founder Booka Shade—plus appearances from Gaslamp Killer, Martyn, Dorian Concept, Fort Romeau, Pangaea and more. The festival tapped Brooklyn local Machinedrum for an exclusive mix in celebration of the announcement. The Ninja Tune artist mixed up 30 minutes of futuristic dancehall mutations.
