  • Fink have a new full-length on the way, due out via Ninja Tune subsidiary R'COUP'D on May 18th. Horizontalism is a reflection of the UK trio's continuing interest in electronic sounds, spurred on by vocalist and frontman Fin Greenall's recent relocation to Berlin. The project presents dub versions of material from their last album, 2014's Hard Believer, reworking the originals to suit a murkier aesthetic. There are a few new cuts on there, too—"Fall Into The Light," "A30 Breakdown," "Suffering Is The Art Of Love"—as well as a remix of Suuns' "Music Won't Save You." Horizontalism will be available digitally, on vinyl and on CD. "Horizontalism has basically been my private soundtrack to my time in Berlin in between touring and promoting the Hard Believer album," says Greenall. "When we were recording the Hard Believer record some of the session guys we reached out to did such great work, and I really wanted to explore the ambience of some of these parts. What started as a remix for the first single soon ballooned into Horizontalism, with a few new songs, the odd remix, and every track on Hard Believer that could be remixed. It was a total pleasure. Some were done in my Berlin space, others were done in the passenger seat of a splitter van whilst touring the USA, while others done in hotel rooms on days off all over Europe."
