  • The Threshold night will return with Silent Servant at a new, TBA location this Saturday. Conceived as a partnership between the Tempe, Arizona collective Ascetic House and hyperactive LA booking concern The Church Off York, Threshold has previously taken place at Mid-City venue Jewel's Catch One, hosting acts like Vereker, Vessel and Container along with a handful of obscure support acts. LA techno mainstay Silent Servant sits atop Saturday's bill, having also been involved in several Threshold events in the past. The Jealous God label owner was responsible for bringing unclassifiable LA duo DVA Damas into the Downwards fold, and that group will play their bracing mix of rockabilly, post-punk and electronics. Chondritic Sound boss Hive Mind will perform a noise set and Mount Analog co-founder Mahssa will spin between sets alongside Ascetic House boss JSA. Information on the new location can be obtained with via RSVP here.
