The International Music Summit will be hosting its first event in China this October.
The Ibiza-born conference has been expanding over the past few years to include new events in Los Angeles and Singapore. This year the IMS's focus on the Asia-Pacific will grow to include a one-day Shanghai summit, held on October 2nd at a hotel location TBA. As co-founder Ben Turner explains: "This is a great opportunity to explore a huge emerging market and to really help decipher the opportunity there." Turner says the Singapore edition will continue to cover the Asia-Pacific region, while Shanghai's summit will specifically concentrate on the industry in China.
