  • Kevin Drumm will play the next Hostile Ambient Takeover at Bay Area 51 on August 14th. The semi-regular event, which takes place in an intimate underground venue, books outré beatless acts including Hieroglyphic Being and Pharmakon. Kevin Drumm is a legend in the noise scene, with works like his 2002 album Sheer Hellish Miasma and 2008's Imperial Distortion showcasing vastly different approaches to prepared guitar and electronics. Last year, he released Trouble via Editions Mego, balancing his output on the venerable experimental imprint with self-released recordings he posts to his Bandcamp page. C.L.A.W.S. and Mozhgan are on support for next month's show. Tickets to Hostile Ambient Takeover are available here on RA.
