  • The second DAT Music Conference will take place over the weekend of July 31st at various venues in Missoula, Montana. The three-day Digital & Analog Technologies festival aims to attract established talent to the region while bolstering the local scene, balancing more traditional live performances and DJ sets with various installations and workshops. DAT kicks off Friday night, with an opening reception as well as a party at Monk's. The latter will be headlined by busy Chicago DJ and producer The Black Madonna. Saturday's programming sees Montreal vet Akufen performing at the Real Lounge, a venue that will also host a DJ set by Detroit house don Mike Huckaby and live performances by West Coast hardware heads Strategy and Cherushii. Sunday's programming winds down with a return DJ appearance from Decibel founder Sean Horton (AKA Nordic Soul). Experimental Housewife and Red Velvet are also set to play live on DAT's final day. You can check out the full lineup in the event listing below. For more information, head over to DAT's official website.
