"Fractured are pumped up to unveil the new addition to Fridays at Seven: chilled out drum’n’bass in the freshly renovated upstairs room. Leave the week behind and get rinsed out with oh so fine melodic d'n'b and comfy couches to spare. If you're in the mood for something a little more laidback than bangin', a little more LTJ than SS, then grab your crew and unwind with us. We're aiming to create a genuinely fun vibe. This isn't a night for purists and chinstroking, it's a night for friends and relaxing - any way you see fit!
"You might not have heard of some of the DJs. They might be names you've seen before, but not on dnb flyers. Ones you've heard at hip hop gigs, electro parties, alleyway bars, basically anywhere other than Seven. Thing is, we've found a heap of DJs from all corners of the scene that own a crate full of chill'n'bass they just don't get to play anywhere. We're going to give them that place. Come down and lend us your ears. You WILL be impressed with the sounds you hear.
"The DJs down at the club won't have any pretensions or rockstar attitude. You'll find them getting there early, hanging about after, and generally causing a ruckus. The promoters won't be sitting in some VIP area, in fact they'll probably be the loudest ones on the dancefloor. And if you ask nice enough, you might even score a drink! Basically we want to create the ideal relaxed environment. We reckon we've got some pretty good ingredients - now we just need YOU. Friendly faces, relaxed vibe, beautiful music, DJs and MCs that you know, and ones that you should. That's what we're about."
