Patricia is back with a new full-length for Opal Tapes called Bem Inventory.
New York's Max Ravitz gave the UK cassette label one of its most enduring (and straightforward) releases with 2013's Body Issues, which was later pressed onto vinyl as the first 12-inch from the Black Opal sublabel. Since then, he's dropped an EP for Spectral Sound as well as a string of collaborations. Now, with Bem Inventory, he returns to the label that gave him his start, according to Juno Plus.
The new record—coming on vinyl and digital—is six tracks long and features a collaboration with Vancouver producer Cloudface, who had his own LP on Black Opal last year. Judging from preview tune "Bed Of Nails" (which you can stream below), Bem Inventory continues Ravitz's journey into gritty, greyscale techno.
