The Twisted Pepper is closing its doors.
The news broke via FACT earlier today, who say that the club is making way for a new restaurant set to open in the same space. There's no word on yet on the cause, though a death outside the venue forced a temporary closure earlier this year.
Since opening in 2008, The Twisted Pepper has become one of Dublin's most well-known nightspots, home to a number of techno and house nights and, notably, the Bodytonic crew, who ran the space along with a host of other venues. There's no official word on exactly when the Twisted Pepper is closing, but a "Goodbye Pepper" party this coming Thursday, hosted by Welcome, points to one possible date (though the Facebook event has reportedly been taken down).
