  • Co La will release an LP titled No No via Software on October 9th. The album is Matt Papich's second effort for Daniel Lopatin's label. According to Software, it sees the experimental Baltimore producer fashioning club music from everyday sounds like "a sneeze, a baby's cry, an alphabet, the biting of an apple, laughter and screams." The LP explores Papich's interest in "f5 syndrome," a term that refers to the constantly refreshing nature of the American news cycle. Papich launched the Co La project in 2011, but he's been active in a number of Charm City projects stretching back to the mid-'00s. Together with Max D, he released a collaborative record as Lifted on PAN earlier this year. Check out a clip for "Suffering (Tuesday)" below.
