Legowelt will release Calimex Mental Implant Corp.'s El Saber Del Arpavor via his own Nightwind Records on October 12th.
The analog synthesizer obsessive born Danny Wolfers looks after about 20 aliases and keeps up a prolific release schedule. Just last month he self-released a "Nordic ambient" album as Saab Knutson. El Saber Del Arpavor follows in the footsteps of Los Alamos Hotel, a boogie-funk informed EP released in 2014 on DC imprint PPU. The label's write-up says the Calimex Mental Implant Corp. record is perfect for "cruising boulevards, picnics, weight lifting, fitness training, swimming pool action, hazing out in the sun, late nite computer programming, Star Trek convention visits and other cool hobbies." The vinyl version follows a limited gold-plated cassette which is now sold out.
