  • Shape Worship's debut album, A City Remembrancer, will arrive via Front And Follow on October 16th. Ed Gillett started producing under the moniker with 2013's Observances EP for Exotic Pylon, followed up by another release for Gang Of Ducks, with the latter described as containing "elements of dub, IDM and ambient" in Maya Kalev's review. A City Rembrancer is a more conceptual project "inspired by the shifting histories of London's physical spaces," using field recordings to "paint a rich portrait of London as a gigantic palimpsest, constantly being rewritten or renewed," according to the label. (Front And Follow is a Manchester-based imprint that has released albums from the likes of Andy Nice and Kemper Norton in the past few years.) Check out "Tamesis (Vision)" below.
