- The Klasse Recordings boss gets remixed by the Sex Tags Mania maven on the new EP, out next week.
Luca Lozano will release the Gun Fingers EP on Hypercolour on September 25th.
The label says the prolific Berlin-based Lozano looks back to his Sheffield upbringing for the new drop, replete with "the breakbeats, edits and bleeps of his native city." Lozano collaborated with fellow Klasse man Mr. Ho on the Dripbox EP from Creme Organization earlier this year, and also released Hands Of Doom 2, the second instalment in his collaboration with Sex Tags UFO head Fett Burger, on Klasse Wrecks this past May.
Fett Burger's brother, the hard-to-pin-down DJ Sotofett, takes over the B-side of the Hypercolour 12-inch with two remixes. "Gun Fingers" becomes the "Gurn Fingers Massive Mix" in Sotofett's hands. He wraps up the EP with "DJ Sotofett's Gurn Redouble Riddim." The press release says the Sotofett versions are meant "for those who spend time chasing around motorways in search of the party."
