Moby has joined the Rolling Stones and Santana in pulling the plug on his Asian tour due to concerns about the SARS virus. In a press release from Moby’s management it was stated that due to warning issued by the local health organisation the decision was made to cancel his gigs in Singapore and Hong Kong with a move to reschedule them for late on this year.
The SARS virus has caused over 50 deaths and has seen over 1,400 people contract the virus across Asia, Europe and North America. The Australian government has also issued a warning to those planning on visiting Singapore and Hong Kong to re-consider.
