  • The next album from Luke Calzonetti's Run Dust moniker, called Supermarché, is due out in November via In Paradisum. Calzonetti, an American-born artist living in Germany best known as a former member of the noise rock band Child Abuse, has been producing his own brand of noisy, experimental electronics as Run Dust for a few years now. In 2014 he put out a pair of albums on Opal Tapes and Nute Records, and back in March he connected with the Paris-based In Paradisum for the Serf Rash LP. In Paradisum describes Supermarché as "the most macabre and lively record we've heard lately," and one that was "pumped out... in [Calzonetti's] typically hyperactive fashion." The 12-track album includes two guest appearances: vocals come from Eelio Estevez on "Todd Rundgren's LSD" and violin from Wendy Gondeln (AKA Albert Oehlen) on "Almonster Voice." It'll see release as a limited-edition CD boxset featuring a book of paintings and a poster from Calzonetti himself, available only in an edition of 100, along with a digital version that also has a digital booklet of the paintings.
