Danny Krivit to spin at Sugar Hill Supper Club

- The 718 Sessions resident will cross the bridge for a rare Brooklyn gig this weekend.
- Danny Krivit will play the 808 party at Sugar Hill Supper Club this coming Saturday, October 24th. The pioneering New York DJ—who spoke to RA's Stephen Titmus earlier this year—is best known for his in-demand disco, funk and soul edits. Krivit also started the legendary Body & Soul parties alongside François Kevorkian and Joe Claussel, and is the resident at 718 Sessions, a weekly night that's been running for nearly 14 years. The Manhattan mainstay isn't often spotted across the river in Brooklyn—and when he is, it's for special 718 Session events at Output—so his gig next week at the Sugar Hill Supper Club is a special occasion. He'll be joined at the Bed Stuy restaurant and dance spot by 808 resident Turtle Bugg, another local disco connoisseur (who is also one-half of the duo Soul 2 Seoul). A fried chicken dinner is on the menu all night for ten dollars on top of the price of admission. Tickets are available on RA.
