  • Machinedrum will play five shows around New Zealand and Australia this New Year's. The American producer—real name Travis Stewart—paid tribute to fellow footwork pioneer and friend DJ Rashad earlier in the year with a five-track EP featuring some unreleased collaborations with the late Chicago artist. He'll cap off 2015 by heading down under, first stopping in New Zealand to play at NYE festivals Northern Bass and Rhythm & Alps. On January 1st, Stewart touches down in Melbourne for Let Them Eat Cake at Werribee Park, where he'll share the bill with Daniel Avery, Com Truise, Jon Hopkins and Ben UFO. He hits Sydney on the 2nd for an intimate club show at Goodgod Small Club along with Planete and Preacha, before he appears at The TBC Club in Brisbane on January 3rd. Tickets to Let Them Eat Cake are available here on RA. Watch Machinedrum's RA Sessions appearance below.
