Comunite launches in Mexico with Giegling, Moodymann, Rhadoo

- The exact venue for the new one-day festival is still TBA, though it's within an eco-community in Tulum.
- Mexico's newest festival, Comunite, will launch in Tulum on Wednesday, January 13th. One of the event's main goals is to showcase breakthrough talent from Latin America alongside established, international names. The likes of Moodymann, Portable, Rhadoo, Barac, Petre Inspirescu, Edward, Kettenkarussell, Lawrence and recent feature subject Andrés will line up alongside Ecuadorian favourite Nicola Cruz and Mexico City's AAAA, who will team up with Tin Man as Tin MAAAAn following their collaboration at the recent edition of MUTEK.MX. The music will run for 15-plus hours. Exact details of the venue are still TBA. In keeping with the surrounding area's conscious ethos, Comunite will donate a portion of its ticket sales to help bring potable water to eight families via rain-catching systems, in addition to supporting climate change awareness and environmental preservation efforts.
