  • Sydney's Goodgod Small Club will change hands after December 12th. It was announced in September that the popular music venue had been put on the market. Now founders Jimmy Sing and Hana Shimada have revealed that the club will be taken over by a new owner and will operate under the name Plan B Small Club. "The time has come," the founders said on Facebook. "Goodgod Small Club will be open for just two more weeks before we pack up shop to go walkabout." They have indicated that all parties scheduled beyond the changeover date will continue as planned. Sing and Shimada's last eight nights of trading at the venue will include two farewell events. On December 9th, "Goodgod & Goodnight" will bring a mix of live music and DJs to the club with a lineup that features Dusty Fingers, Twerps and Straight Arrows. The bill for the final show, "Goodgod & Goodbye" on December 12th, will be released in the coming days.
