The full lineup is in for this year's edition of the beachside festival, which returns to Boipeba Island in December.
The week-long bash will run from December 26th through January 3rd on Boipeba Island in the eastern state of Bahia. Several DJs, among them Tim Sweeney and The Revenge, were announced earlier this year, with more than 15 acts added since then. These include Young Marco, Solar, Eric Duncan, Pete Herbert, Eddie C, Dicky Trisco and Greg Wilson, who will headline the main NYE party. A clutch of local artists have also made the cut, from Vitor Kurc and Gui Scott to Márcio Vermelho and Carrot Green.
In addition to the festival, the organisers also run parties and a record label out of São Paulo. The next Babel event will take place on Saturday, December 5th with Prins Thomas at a TBA venue, while fans will have to wait until February for the next release, a ten-inch, two-track EP from Joakim. There's also a compilation of rare Brazilian music in the works called Balneárico, curated by Babel regulars Selvagem.
