  • Andrew Weatherall will play a four-hour set at Downtown LA club Lot 613 on February 13th, 2016. The UK artist, known for his involvement with Boys Own, Shoom, Warp Records and a host of other British musical institutions, recently announced Covenanza, his first solo album since 2009. When quizzed on his happenings in an interview accompanying his recent RA Podcast, Weatherall said he's been "writing the foreword to a new book about the influence of LSD on art, playing records at secular transcendence ceremonies," and "making prints for [his] new subscription-only record label called Moine Dubh." In LA, Weatherall will spin at Prototype for four hours with support from ESP Institute boss Lovefingers and Heidi Lawden. It's his first visit to the City of Angels since 2003, when he played The Fonda as part of a Warp Records tour. Weatherall is also scheduled for an all-night set in Brooklyn for Resolute the following weekend. Listen to a cut off Covenanza below.
Tickets to the LA and New York shows are available on RA.
