- The RISE 49 has appeared at NAMM's media preview day.
The London-based music tech company ROLI has introduced a four-octave version of their Seaboard MIDI controller, the RISE 49.
The announcement comes just four months after the release of the smaller RISE 25, which garnered rave reviews from the tech media establishment. The latest model offers many of the same features as the original, with the addition of an expanded playing surface and a copy of Bitwig 8-Track, one of many DAWs that supports Equator (ROLI's proprietary sound engine). The main draw of the RISE family is its implementation of Multidimensional Polyphonic Expression, a technology that allows you to control multiple parameters simultaneously with your fingertips.
