- An EP from Kemppi himself, Detached From The Past, is in the works.
Samuli Kemppi has revealed some early details on his own label, Power Of Voltages.
The Finnish artist's spacy techno productions have earned him appearances on labels like Perc Trax, Prologue, Komisch, Ostgut Ton and M_REC LTD, the latter being home to his 2014 LP The Observer Effect. He's also known for the Deep Space Helsinki radio show and label he operates with Juho Kusti—the duo's next DSH record lands later this month.
Kemppi named his label after a track on the aforementioned album for M_REC LTD. According to a Facebook page, Power Of Voltages will focus on "techno and experimental electronic music." The first record, from Kemppi himself, is called Detached From The Past.
