- Capsule's Pride is a "techno-retro-futurist" rework of the classic anime film's OST.
Bwana is releasing and EP called Capsule's Pride through LuckyMe on March 26th.
Capsule's Pride is a reworking of the soundtrack from Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira, one of anime's defining moments and a classic film in itself, dating back to 1988. It'll be available for free download once the release date rolls around.
The EP comes after a strong year for Bwana, AKA Nathan Micay, with the Torontonian moving to Berlin after signing to Will Saul's Aus Music, where he released a few EPs last year. Capsule's Pride is his first release for LuckyMe, which is also home to Hudson Mohawke and Jacques Greene. Check out our Breaking Through feature with Micay from last year here.
