Surgeon debuts Anthony Child project in LA

- The UK veteran will perform at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in March.
- Anthony Child (AKA Surgeon) will make his North American debut at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on March 4th. Child, the techno veteran, has been releasing recordings of modular synthesizer music under his birth name as of late. Last year, he issued the self-explanatory Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol. 1 via Editions Mego in addition to live sets from Freerotation and Clubs At Café Oto. In LA, he'll be joined by ex-Coil man Drew McDowall as well as fellow modular devotee (and Nine Inch Nails live member) Alessandro Cortini. Veteran US experimentalists Pete Swanson and Greh Holger (AKA Hive Mind) will open up the show with their collaborative live debut. The show is being presented by LA record store and promotions company Mount Analog. They've previously put on shows from Grouper and Demdike Stare in the historic cemetery venue. Last year, Surgeon staged a modular performance in RA's London offices as part of our Sessions film series. Watch the footage below.
