- The German house producer's first solo record in two years lands digitally on Ninja Tune affiliate Counter Records tomorrow.
David August is gearing up to release his first solo record in two years.
The producer is among Germany's best-known house acts, with a melodic, bass-heavy style that's been released on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Diynamic Music and, most recently, Innervisions. Ninja Tune affiliate Counter Records hosts the new release, which sees August deliver two tracks, "J.B.Y." and "Ouvert." It lands digitally tomorrow, March 4th, with vinyl to follow on May 6th.
A series of gigs are also planned for the coming weeks, including a headline slot at London venue KOKO on June 29th. To score tickets for that one, fans will need to RSVP to the event page on RA. They will then be sent a link via email that they can use to buy tickets when they go on sale on Friday, March 4th at 10 AM.
