The Canadian producer's artificial intelligence-inspired LP will come out in April.
Canadian producer Tristan Douglas first appeared on labels like B.YRSELF Division and Cocobass under the name Margaret Antwood. He's dropped the Margaret part for Virtuous.scr, his first release on the long-running UK label, which is themed "around the development of an AI" and "the idea of whether or not an AI can have a set of ethics." The label says that the album grows more melodic and emotional towards the end, with a "dark cartoonish cinematic feel." Check out clips over at the Planet Mu website.
Antwood joins a few other new artists on Planet Mu this year, including Silk Road Assassins and Turkish producer Sami Baha.
