Void Acoustics will release two new monitoring speakers at the Prolight + Sound conference in Frankfurt this month.
The Air Vantage is a DJ monitor designed for large club environments and festival stages. Void says a tweaked internal crossover aims to minimise ear fatigue while maintaining high SPL levels. Wide signal dispersion should allow DJs to move around the booth without sacrificing even sound response and a low profile provides clear sight lines between the booth and the dancefloor. The Air Stream is a more compact version which should be suitable for smaller venues. Void will also reveal a new line array that is set to appear at events during the festival season.
The announcement precedes a couple of busy weeks for music tech companies, with Superbooth kicking off today in Berlin before Musikmesse takes over Frankfurt next week.
