Sankeys to open new venue in Tokyo

- Omar-S and Kenji Takimi will help launch Sankeys TYO on April 23rd.
- Sankeys will open a new entertainment space in Tokyo on April 23rd. Sankeys TYO will be the Manchester-born clubbing brand's first foray into the Japanese market, setting up a 500-capacity venue in Daikanyama, a neighbourhood in Tokyo's bustling Shibuya ward. As Sankeys explain, "our mission is none other than the revitalization of the maturing Tokyo dance music scene." Omar-S, whose latest album dropped just last week, will be stepping in to headline the launch party on the 23rd. It's his first Japanese show in five years.
