- The new triple LP collects highlights from the Finnish producer's ongoing series.
Clone Basement Series has compiled a collection of Aleksi Perälä's Colundi Sequence highlights.
Colundi is a self-designed tuning system that uses only a certain set of frequencies—"128 resonant frequencies chosen via experimentation and philosophy, each relating to a specific human bio-resonance, or psychology, traditional mysticism or belief, physics, astronomy, math, chemistry," to be exact,according to the label.
On Perälä's self-styled imprint AP Musik, the Finnish producer has explored techno, IDM, ambient and experimental styles with the Colundi frequencies, releasing 16 digital-only albums along the way. Clone Basement's compilation gathers highlights from these into an 18-track, triple-LP package that the label said explores the "spiritual side of techno."
