808 to host Derrick Carter in Brooklyn

- Honey Dijon is also on the lineup for next month's gig at Sugar Hill Disco.
- The next 808 party will go down at Sugar Hill Disco on Saturday, May 14th. The residency's hosted some big names in Midwestern house music: Andrés, Moodymann, Kyle Hall and Omar S are among the highlights. Next up is Chicago veteran and current smartbar resident Derrick Carter (who is also booked for RA's Movement opening party in Detroit next month). Carter will be joined by Honey Dijon, a Chicago native who cut her teeth in New York's house scene in the '90s. 808 resident Turtle Bugg—who landed an RA mix of the day last month—will round out the bill at Sugar Hill Disco, an intimate restaurant and nightclub in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood.
