  • Last night Beyoncé self-released an album called Lemonade, a 12-track effort featuring James Blake, Animal Collective and Diplo, among many others. The American pop star aired a full-length visual accompaniment to Lemonade on Saturday on HBO. She made the record available via Tidal shortly after. The first song, "Pray You Catch Me," is a collaboration with UK producer James Blake. He's listed as a writer on that one, while a later track, "Forward," also features Blake, who remixed Beyoncé's "Drunk In Love" in 2014. She also worked with Diplo on Lemonade cut "Hold Up" and her collaboration with Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd, "6 Inch," has her quoting Animal Collective's 2009 song "My Girls." Elsewhere, Kendrick Lamar, Jack White and Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig feature. Led Zeppelin and the obscure Puerto Rican psychedelic group Kaleidoscope are among the artists sampled. Through his BBC Radio 1 show, Blake recently shared a new track called "Timeless" and said his new album is finished.
