- Just A Clown on Crack arrives via Dekmantel on May 11th.
Legowelt will release a new album under his Occult Orientated Crime alias.
Just A Clown on Crack is due out on Dekmantel on May 11th. It will be the third time Legowelt, AKA Danny Wolfers, has used the Occult Orientated Crime name, following digital releases in 2014 and 2015. The new LP, which comprises six tracks spread across a single 12-inch, will be the first time a full release from the project has been available on wax.
"The OOC sound is an accumulation of twenty years of musical training and research and what effect it has on the brain," says Wolfers. "Simply put: it’s electronic ambient music, which is more advanced compared to the music I’m creating with my Smackos alias. OOC is deeper and more melodic, less loose and vague but perhaps more intense. It can bring the listener into a completely different state of mind, you can almost call it ritualistic neuroscience music."
