DJs from the much-loved Manhattan club, which closed in 2010, will get together in Williamsburg this weekend.
Black Flamingo will host a tribute party to the now-closed dance club APT this Saturday.
APT was a New York clubbing institution in the mid-to-late 2000s, with an emphasis on hip-hop, disco, soul and house. The intimate venue counted DJ Spinna, Claude VonStroke, Rich Medina and James Murphy among its regular DJs.
This Saturday's APT tribute party will see sets from former residents Karl Injex, DJ Lindsey and Darshan Jesrani (one half of Metro Area alongside Morgan Geist). It's also the last weekend of no cover for Black Flamingo, the basement club opened by Soul Clap's Eli Goldstein last summer.
Check out DJ Lindsey's mix for the Discovery label podcast from earlier this month.
