- The New York producer will start things off with a three-track EP featuring DJ Sotofett.
Madteo will kick off M.A.D.T.E.O. RECORDS with a 12-inch called Voracious Culturilizer Disco Mix.
The Italian-born NYC producer (real name Matteo Ruzzon) has been teasing the new imprint on social media for a while. He's been relatively quiet on the production front as of late, save for an EP called Raveyard Shifts that came out last April. The description of the first M.A.D.T.E.O. release says Ruzzon's three tracks "backfire standardized club music," going on to mention that Sex Tags Mania co-founder and close Madteo affiliate DJ Sotofett selected and edited both sides for the new label's first 12-inch. Madteo and Sotofett will both play FIT Sound's Trip Metal festival afterparty in Detroit on May 27th.
