The Icelandic techno star will hit both continents in May and June.
Icelandic producer Bjarki Sigurdarson has quickly risen to become one of the star artists on Trip, the label that Nina Kraviz started in 2014. His tracks have appeared on all three of Trip's double-EP compilations, and he's got two more coming this month on When I Was 14, which also features Aphex Twin and Kraviz herself.
Sigurdarson's upcoming tour kicks off in Ecuador on May 20th before heading to gigs in Colombia and Mexico. He'll land in the US in time for Movement on the 29th, plus another Trip showcase in Detroit on the 30th. In June it's Flash Factory in NYC followed by Montreal, Miami, Los Angeles and one final gig at Wherehouse in Tijuana.
