Radiohead have announced that Holly Herndon will open the European leg of their upcoming world tour.
The band just released their latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool, this past weekend, and they'll be hitting the road in two weeks to mark the occasion. For the eight-date European section that starts the tour, 4AD artist Holly Herndon will open, beginning in Amsterdam on May 20, then moving onto Paris, London and Lyon. Herndon's live act is now a trio featuring Colin Self and Mat Dryhurst. Herndon tweeted a couple of excitable GIFs in response to the news.
For a few other dates in the more distant future, Radiohead have also tapped Erased Tapes act Dawn of Midi and hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces.
