Nico Purman back on Vakant with new 12-inch, Pattern Recognition

- Nico Purman is returning to Vakant with an EP titled Pattern Recognition. The three-tracker will be Purman's first solo 12-inch for Alex Knoblauch's label since 2012. He was a key contributor in the years prior, responsible for a string of well-received 12-inches which began with 2008's Tuesday EP. Purman has since launched a label of his own, but remains a core member of the Vakant crew, regularly playing at its label nights in Berlin. Pattern Recognition is more techno- and electro-leaning than most of his work on Vakant so far, and lands on vinyl on May 23rd. Digital follows on June 6th. You can catch Purman playing alongside labelmates Livio & Roby, Tolga Fidan and Sons Of Tiki at Berlin's Kater Blau next Friday, May 27th for the launch party for Livio & Roby's Delta Reshpape 12-inch.
