Music From Memory has revealed its next record, a four-tracker from UK band The System.
The System put out only one LP, Logic, in 1983 on the French label Romantic Records. The band's sound ranges from dreamy dad-rock to the proto-techno heard on "Vampirella." Music From Memory's also managed to source a previously unreleased track, "Find It In Your Eyes," for the reissue. The release comes in July following a double-LP from Michal Turtle.
The label, run by Jamie Tiller and Red Light Records purveyors Tako Reyenga and Abel Nagengast, was founded in 2013 around a shared love for digging up obscure gems. 2016 has seen the imprint unearth a promo 12-inch from Dip In The Pool as well as some Balearic cuts from St. Louis group Workdub.
