  • Jon Hopkins's 2001 debut album, Opalescent, has been remastered and will get a fresh release on August 26th. Hopkins recorded Opalescent at the age of 20, with close friend and collaborator Leo Abrahams contributing on guitar. Since then he's released another three albums, including 2013's landmark Immunity LP, and oversaw an edition of the LateNightTales compilation series. (He also has a fifth album in the works.) This time round Opalescent will be available digitally, on CD and as a double-vinyl gatefold LP with liner notes. Listen to the remastered version of "Cold Out There."
