  • Spanish techno artist Kwartz is launching his own label, order&devotion. Kwartz, AKA Madrid-based Mario Campos, has connected with a few key techno outlets in recent years. Among his hard-edged efforts are EPs on Oscar Mulero's PoleGroup as well as Mord, 47 and Nheoma. Now he's starting his own imprint, which looks to be a home for his own music. Here's its mission statement: "Our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Promising to deliver "dark atmospheres... surrounded by rhythms designed for the dance floor," Kwartz is launching the label with a three-track EP called Hope For Guiltiness. It's due to drop in a couple days on vinyl and digital formats. Check out samples for the EP.
