  • Oliver Ho and Tommy Gillard are teaming up as Zov Zov for a new mini-LP. Zov Zov first appeared back in 2014 when the duo released an EP via Shifted's since-shuttered Mira label. (It wasn't the first time Ho and Gillard worked together, however—they put out a record as Atlas in 2010.) Ho, who also works under the names Broken English Club and Raudive, is a long-time player in the UK techno scene, experimenting with all sorts of styles and lately concentrating on a sound more influenced by EBM and industrial. Gillard has a similar pedigree, although he's probably better known for the Continual label than his productions. As Juno Plus reports, the six-track The Sacred Pornography Of God is "an exploration into electronic noise and drone as a talisman for religious and ritualistic experiences." Check out a preview.
