- The New York house and disco legend will play an all 7-inch set this Thursday evening.
Output will host Danny Krivit for a four-hour set of all 7-inch records this Thursday.
The New York native has been DJing for 45 years now. He cut his teeth at iconic spots like Mancuso's Loft and the Paradise Garage, and later founded the weekly Body & Soul party with François K and Joe Claussell, as well as 718 Sessions (which is still running sporadically). Krivit's also known for his in-demand disco, funk and soul edits.
To celebrate the anniversary he's prepared a four-hour set of 7-inch 45s in the main room of Output. The early evening gig is presented by local label Most Excellent—run by house head Paul Raffaele—who will release a set of new Krivit edits on 7-inch later this week. Copies of that will be available for the first time at Output this Thursday.
