  • The first Chance Of Rain festival will go down September 28th through October 2nd at various venues across Seattle. Conceived in the wake of the now-cancelled Decibel Festival—the annual fall gathering that brought top-notch talent to Seattle—Chance Of Rain follows a similar format, fanning out across various Emerald City clubs for the better part of a week. Things kick off Wednesday the 28th at Q Nightclub with Jacques Greene. The next night, Derrick May headlines at Q with Decibel founder Nordic Soul on support. Friday, Chance Of Rain collaborates with Bottom Forty to present Le Tigre member JD Samson. Saturday sees the programming in full swing with Michael Serafini and Daniel T spinning at a late night warehouse party, Tropic Of Cancer performing live at The Crocodile and Texas electro hero Convextion heading up a Re-Bar bill. The San Francisco-rooted crew Wicked, whose core members include DJ Garth and Thomas Bullock, shuts it down at the same venue on Sunday, October 2nd.
