Chicago house icon Farley Jackmaster Funk is about to put out "France We Send Our House To You," a track supporting the victims of the recent terrorist attacks in France.
The more than nine minute-long digital cut counts as Farley Jackmaster Funk's first new release on Trax Records since 2004, and it features a number of vocal collaborators: Byron Stingily (the chart-topping solo artist and Ten City member), Trax co-founder Screamin' Rachael and The Chicago House Music Voices For Peace, a group of 12 gospel singers. The label will donate all proceeds from the track to the Give For France fundraising campaign organized by Fondation de France, the country's largest grant-making charity.
Screamin' Rachael says, "Through the years, France has been one of the strongest supporters of our music, and so we want to bring others from around the world together to heal through the love of music."
