  • Stallone The Reducer will release his first album, Private Property, on Fit sub-label EST. 83' this October. The solo project of Sam Consiglio, Stallone The Reducer draws deep from the synthesizer enthusiast's upbringing in Detroit. The press releases says he "sipped from the same Mojo-tinted and New Dance Show-flavored water as everyone else," before developing a deep obsession with Throbbing Gristle—not only the seminal group's mechanical rhythms but the "lust and liberation" it represented. While Consiglio, who has worked with weirdo synth acts like Viki and ADULT., makes music that fits loosely into the electro-punk genres, his gruff vocals cover themes of "coded language, privacy and brutality and Rome as a continuing saga, living behind every front door." The LP, comprising 11 tracks made between 2013 and 2015, follows his debut EP, Drug Pusher, released on the EST. 83' imprint earlier this year. Listen to "Leave Me Alive."
