  • Bruce will headline the Freak Easy party at Grand Opening HQ in Chinatown on Friday, September 30th. Bruce, AKA Bristol producer Larry McCarthy, debuted on the venerated Hessle Audio with the Not Stochastic EP a couple years ago, going on to release a few well-received 12-inches for Livity Sound sub-label Dnuos Ytivil and another for Hessle, Steals. Most recently, he released The Trouble With Wilderness on hometown imprint Idle Hands, and announced a new one for Batu's Timedance label. In LA he'll play the tiny Grand Opening HQ venue, operated by LA artist PHORK and friends, situated off a pedestrian walkway in Chinatown. Force Placement, one of the DJs behind the monthly Black Lodge event, is on support, with Ben Babbitt rounding out the bill. Following the LA show, Bruce will head to San Francisco for Parameter's two-year anniversary, where he joins a lineup that includes Zenker Brothers and Clouds. On October 7th, he'll headline the Groovy Groovy underground in Brooklyn. Discwoman lynchpin Umfang is also scheduled to DJ that one.
