- Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle Vol. 2 is out in December.
Surgeon is releasing a second volume of modular recordings made in Hawaii.
The first volume of Electronic Recordings From Maui Jungle came out last year on Editions Mego, and was released under the techno producer's given name, Anthony Child. These new recordings, also under his birth name, were made live on a Buchla Music Easel in the Hawaiian jungle in February of this year. The label says, "all environmental sounds simply 'occurred' throughout the improvisations," creating an "interplay" between the electronic and acoustic.
