The xx at work on new album

- The London group have also shared a playlist of music they've been listening to in the studio.
- The xx are working on their third album. After sharing a few photos on social media over the past day or so—and, in the process, raising fans' hopes, since the group hasn't put out a record since 2013—The xx posted a note today saying, "It feels so good to be together making new music." The message was paired with a link to a playlist of 27 songs, coming from the likes of Velvet Underground, Björk, Roy Davis and Alicia Keys, that the group has been listening to in the studio. Shortly after that, they shared a photo from a studio session. Though no details about the album itself have been revealed, it would follow 2009's xx and 2012's Coexist, each released, like the rest of The xx's output, via Young Turks.
