  • Paris record shop La Source will close permanently on Sunday, October 23rd. Located on 46 Rue Albert Thomas near Canal St-Martin, La Source had become a key spot for buying house and techno records in Paris. (RA co-hosted an in-store gig there earlier this year.) The shop opened in 2013 after Sources Management, DDD and Smallville joined forces. Now, the owners are parting ways to focus on their own projects. DDD will keep selling its stock via Discogs, while Sources concentrates on its record label, [Re]Sources. Smallville will open a new record shop in the same area, at 26 Rue Du Chateau d'Eau. The exact opening date is still TBA, but it will open "in a few days," Smallville's Jacques Bon told RA.
